About Reizigers

Reizigers is a cheeky local guide to the Netherlands after dark. Amsterdam gets most of the attention, but we also cover Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Groningen and Maastricht: the red light districts, coffeeshops, bars, clubs, canals and everything your guidebook was too polite to mention. We write for grown-ups who want the honest version: what's worth your time, what's a tourist trap, what it costs, and the unwritten rules that keep you out of trouble.

We make no apologies for loving the wild side of Dutch cities, and we are just as firm about respecting the people who work there. The Red Light District gets our full appreciation, but photographing the workers is off the table, always. Try it and you will be confronted, and rightly so. House rules.
